The term "358" originates from its mesh dimensions: 3" x 0.5", with "8" denoting the wire gauge. In metric units, this translates to 4mm wire thickness and a mesh size of 76.2mm x 12.7mm x 4mm.
The 358 safety fence features a tightly woven mesh that is virtually impenetrable by objects. Its compact mesh structure makes it extraordinarily challenging to cut using traditional hand tools.
