"358" derives its name from its mesh size, where '3' refers to the 3" x 0.5" mesh size and '8' indicates the wire gauge, which is 4mm. This results in a 358 guardrail with dimensions of 76.2mm x 12.7mm x 4mm.
The 358 safety fence features a narrow mesh that prevents objects from passing through, making it exceptionally challenging to cut using traditional hand tools.
