'358' derives its name from the mesh size of 3"*0.5". The '8' denotes the wire gauge, which is approximately 4mm. Hence, the dimensions of the 358 guardrail are 76.2mm*12.7mm*4mm.
The 358 safety fence features a narrow mesh design that prevents objects from passing through. Its small mesh size makes it extremely difficult to cut with traditional hand tools.
