'358' derives from its mesh size of 3" x 0.5". The '8' refers to its wire number, which translates to 4mm in millimeters. Therefore, the dimensions for the 358 guardrail are 76.2mm x 12.7mm x 4mm.
The 358 safety fence features a narrow mesh design that is nearly impenetrable by objects. Its small mesh size makes it exceedingly difficult to cut with traditional hand tools.
